Description

In this lesson, one of a multi-part unit from Illuminations, students use iteration, recursion and algebra to model and analyze the changing amount of medicine in an athlete's body. An interactive Java applet calculates the amount of medicine in a person's body immediately after taking a dose, and students can vary the initial dose, elimination rate and recurring dose.
