Description

In this lesson, from EDSITEment, students learn about nonsense poetry as well as the various poetic techniques and devices that poets use. Students study "The Owl and the Pussy Cat," by the British poet Edward Lear, and play educational games to identify poetic techniques in Lear's poems. They then try creating poems of their own.
