In this unit of three lessons, from EDSITEment, students learn about families in various Spanish cultures and gain a preliminary knowledge of the Spanish language, learning the Spanish names for various family members. After completing the lessons in this unit, students are able to locate Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries on a map of the world and describe similarities and differences between family life in America and family life in Spain, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.
