Description
In this Webcast, from the Library of Congress, author and scholar Rosamund Mack offers an illustrated lecture based on her book "Bazaar to Piazza: Islamic Trade and Italian Art, 1300-1600." Mack's extensive travels throughout the Middle East gave her the valuable opportunity of researching the influence of Islamic luxury goods and imports on Italian art as a result of trade between Italy and Islamic countries.
