Curriculum integration provides students with an opportunity to see
the relevance between academic content and real world connection.
Tulare-King has used curriculum mapping to help their academy
teachers identify areas in which their curriculum intersects.
Teachers have used these maps to develop PBL Projects and integrate
work-based learning opportunities into their curriculum. The
successful results can be seen in the Medical Science Academy at
Dinuba High School. Teachers, and students, share how integration
has made for a better teaching, and learning, experience.
