Description
The series of ten online professional development modules were purposely designed to provide educators with the knowledge, skills
and resources to implement high quality civic inquiry and investigations in K-12 schools. Video assets of actual classrooms provide powerful examples of what high quality civic learning looks like in schools. The host of the series, Michelle Herczog offers valuable insights, information, and resources to support efforts to institutionalize civic learning across entire schools to prepare all students for civic life. Resources and handouts can be found with each module and also at the California Democracy School website www.lacoe.edu/californiademocracyschool.
