Data collection and reporting strategies for East Bay Career Pathways
Contributed By
Description
We will describe the process through which our consortium developed
data collection and reporting of pathways and participants,
including multi-regional data committees, operational definitions,
and first steps toward data reporting and analysis supporting
data-driven decision making among member institutions. For
secondary education, this involved conducting surveys and producing
a summary report providing feedback including visualization of
work-based learning activities. For community colleges, this
involved discussions of what defines participation in a pathway for
the purpose of meeting reporting requirements and, what is more,
putting in place the components needed to track students and their
work-based learning activities from K-12 to community college.
