As the 2014 legislative cycle comes to a close, the dust will soon settle and we will know what child welfare bills ultimately will be successful and which will have to live to fight another day. This call will feature Amy Lemley, Policy Director for the John Burton
Foundation, Debbie Raucher, California College Pathways Director for the John Burton Foundation and Suzanna Kniffen of Children Now who will provide an overview of new laws from the current legislative session that impact foster youth, with a focus on laws
that impact the transitional age foster youth population and in particular those laws that have the potential to influence the academic outcomes for foster youth and post-secondary education success.
