A portion of Goennier and Boatman's presentation focuses on Instructional Practices and how one would best implement models to promote greater learning through understanding student abilities. Hess' Cognitive Rigor Matrix and Curricular Examples includes Webb's Depth-of-Knowledge Levels and Bloom's Taxonomy of Cognitive Process Dimensions. Furthermore, the matrix states what students are able to do at each level.
