Description

This National Geographic News resource features a photograph of and brief information about 400 dolphins that washed up dead on a Tanzanian beach. Researchers were left with little clues as to the cause of deaths, but did note that the dolphins' stomachs were empty, implying they either had not eaten in a long time or had recently vomited.
