The Captain John Smith Four Hundred Project, an educational initiative of Sultana Projects, Inc., was undertaken to commemorate the historic journey of Captain John Smith and his crew who explored the Chesapeake Bay in 1608. At this Web site, users can learn about John Smith's voyage, examine Smith's 1612 map, view photographs of the building of a replica ship, and find out about a planned reenactment voyage.
