Description

This National Geographic resource, part of their Pathways to Achievement series, features a profile of photographer and polar explorer Børge Ousland, who was the first person to trek solo and unassisted to both the North and South Poles. In addition to his many achievements in the polar regions, Ousland has also reached the South Summit on Mount Everest, scaled Cho Oyu in Tibet, and climbed Huayna Potosí in Bolivia.
