Description

This National Geographic Magazine resource features a photograph taken for their February 2005 story about the Salton Sea. Users can learn why the photo, which depicts dying palm trees in the area of the old Salton Bay Yacht Club, did not make the cut for the print version of the magazine. There are also links to an excerpt from the article for which the photo was originally taken and to more of photographer Gerd Ludwig's photographs.
