Description
This is part three of a four-part E-example from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics that uses games to foster mathematical communication as students explain and justify their moves to one another. This part contains a video clip that shows how activities like mathematical games allow students to use communication as a tool to deepen their understanding of mathematics. E-examples are selected from the electronic version of the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (PSSM).
