Description

This is part one of a two-part E-example from the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics that uses virtual hundred boards and calculators as a visual way of highlighting and displaying various patterns and relationships among numbers. Using calculators and hundred boards together encourages students to communicate their thinking with others. In this part, the same patterns are displayed on a calculator and on a hundred board simultaneously. E-examples are selected from the electronic version of the Principles and Standards for School Mathematics (PSSM). Less
