Description
This historical article, from the New York Times Learning Network, describes the disappearance of three civil rights workers in Philadelphia, Mississippi in 1964. Their bodies were found six weeks after their disappearance. Eight members of the Ku Klux Klan went to prison, but none served more than six years.
