Description

In this lesson, from the New York Times Learning Network, students discuss sources and reasons for the creation of new words and phrases. They focus on some of the words and phrases that came about in 2004 in relation to events that took place during the year. They then compile a dictionary of new words related to recent events and develop their own neologisms.
