Description

In this lesson, from the New York Times Learning Network, students examine the different campaign styles and political platforms of the nine candidates who fought for the Democratic Party nomination during the 2004 presidential election. Following discussions in class, stuents write persuasive essays reflecting their position on the personal versus the political in political campaigns.
