Description

In this lesson, from the New York Times Learning Network, students explore the current technological problems faced in various critical sectors of society (personal finance, safety, transportation, energy, and health care) and how the Year 2000 problem was expected to impact these sectors. While this lesson addresses problems that were anticipated related to Y2K, students could still carry out most of the activities and relate them to technology concerns of the present.
