Description

In this lesson from PBS TeacherSource, reviewed for grades PreK-2 by Illuminations, students construct "Whirlybirds" as parachute simulators and measure the distance they fly. Students then estimate how far most of them flew, and, after collating the data, determine if their estimates were correct. Read the full review on the Illuminations site, where you can access this resource directly.
