Description

In this lesson plan, found on the New York Times Learning Network, students explore the role that the Internet plays in "preserving" ancient civilizations by reading and discussing "A Web Surfer's Guide to Ancient British Past." Then students participate in an "Internet scavenger hunt" by searching the Internet for information on an assigned ancient, mysterious monument and creating a "quiz" of questions related to each Web site.
