This page, from the EDSITEment-reviewed Arctic Studies Center, is a community-based exhibition planned in collaboration with the Alutiiq people of southern Alaska. Combining archaeology, history, and oral tradition, the exhibition retraces the history of the Alutiiq people, examining the changing meanings of their culture and identity. This page contains a short article describing the origins and history of the Alutiiq.
