Description
In this lesson, from the New York Times Learning Network, students review the concepts of cloning and genetic engineering. Next, they participate in a roundtable discussion based on the ethics and potential of cloning. Finally, each student writes either an expository or persuasive essay on a topic stemming from the cloning debate, including information from an interview conducted with a "specialist" on the selected topic to support the essay's thesis.
