Description
Judi Moreillon's Web site Story Trail presents a study of poetic devices that can be used in both poetry and prose compositions. The page provides a list of terms, each with a brief explanation and an example. Students also have the opportunity to identify the poetic devices used in a number of published poems. This resource is referenced in the ReadWriteThink lesson titled "Behind the Masks: Exploring Culture and Self Through Art and Poetry."
