This resource created by George Hart, reviewed for grades 9-12 by Illuminations, is an online encyclopedia of polyhedra. The site contains a large collection of tutorials, reference works, and other links related to polyhedra. In addition, there is a collection of polyhedra, organized by type, that can be explored using virtual reality software. Using a free plug-in, the user can rotate the polyhedra, zoom in or out, and even move into the interior, looking back out at the solid.
