Description

This Web page, found on the College of Staten Island Library Web site, presents the Declaration of Independence alongside the Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions prepared by Elizabeth Cady Stanton following the first national woman's suffrage convention held at Seneca Falls in 1848. By placing these historical documents side-by-side it is easy to make comparisons between the two.
