This lesson is to instruct the students in the proper method of
setting the differential backlash. When students arrive in class
they will see the objectives for the day on the white board. The
students will receive instruction on the proper way to set up the
dial indicator with a demonstration for them to model. Students
will view a video to train them in the proper techniques for
adjusting the differential to correct for improper backlash. I will
go over tool selection; 3/8 dr. socket set, 3/8 dr. ratchet,
spanner wrench, dial indicator, dial caliper, torque wrench, brass
drift and pry bar.
