A podcast is an audio or video file archived on the internet so
that that it can be automatically accessed by a computer, and/or
downloaded and transferred to a portable player such as an MP3
player or iPod.  Creating podcasts allows students to
experience the pleasure of sharing their work with an audience as
they learn about communicating through electronic media.
