Description
Need a fun way to assess students general woodshop
knowledge? Want to play a game instead of yelling at
students? Have you taught a lot of vocabulary but are not sure if
students know what you are talking about? If you answered yes to
any of the above, this review lesson plan is for you.
By playing woodshop "pictionary" on the white board students
will be forced to demonstrate their knowledge of tools, cuts,
joints and misc. vocabulary while having fun and working together
in small teams. The beauty of this lesson is I've already created
the "board" and "cards" for a 1 year beginning
woodshop/cabinetmaking class. Because the files are all here
in "word" format, you can easily tailor the game so it is
perfectly aligned with your curriculum, students, and or
pacing.
