This lesson introduces students to robotic control and computer
aided manufacturing.  A CNC (computer numeric control) machine
is a computer controlled lathe, router, plasma cutter or laser.

Students can observe a sign (the school mascot, perhaps) being
carved into a sign blank.  One or more could be done in a few
minutes and given as prizes in a drawing for correct answers in
short summative assessment.
