This lesson is designed to introduce students to using the Pythagorean theorem to calculate the lengths of sides of a right triangle in order to calculate area and perimeter. This lesson provides links to discussions and activities related to triangles and the Pythagorean theorem as well as suggested ways to integrate them into the lesson. Finally, the lesson provides links to follow-up lessons designed for use in succession with the current one.
