Description

This resource, from Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (NWREL), features the 6+1 Trait Writing framework. This is a powerful way to learn and use a common language to refer to characteristics of writing as well as create a common vision of what 'good' writing looks like. Teachers and students can use the 6+1 Trait model to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness as they to focus on continued writing improvement. There are links to other NWREL resources as well. This resource is referenced in the ReadWriteThink lesson titled "Peace Poems and Picasso Doves: Literature, Art, Technology, and Poetry." Less
