This page links to photographs of, as well as a panoramic video of, three exhibit rooms depicting typical Illinois homes during the 1970s and 1980s. The exhibits feature a recreation room, a collection of wedding gifts, and a teenager's room. The collections featured are part of the At Home in the Heartland Online project from the Illinois State Museum. At Home in the Heartland Online contains in-depth materials on family life in Illinois from 1700 to the present and has been designed as a classroom resource for teachers and students.
