Description

This collection of photographs depicts food preparation objects from Illinois homes during the Civil War. The collection is part of the At Home in the Heartland Online project from the Illinois State Museum. At Home in the Heartland Online contains in-depth materials on family life in Illinois from 1700 to the present and has been designed as a classroom resource for teachers and students. This collection of photographs is referenced in the EDSITEment lesson "My Piece of History."
