Description

This Web page, part of the Geoffrey Chaucer Web site, presents a Middle English version of the Medieval poem "The Flower and the Leaf." This love poem was once attributed to Chaucer himself but it is now thought that the author was an anonymous woman writer of the fifteenth century. This resource is referenced in the EDSITEment lesson plan titled "Chaucer's Wife of Bath."
