This collection of photographs depicts household objects from the 18th-century French settlement of Illinois, including furniture, eating and cooking utensils, and firearms. The collection is part of the At Home in the Heartland Online project from the Illinois State Museum. At Home in the Heartland Online contains in-depth materials on family life in Illinois from 1700 to the present and has been designed as a classroom resource for teachers and students.
