Description
This web page, part of the Luminarium Web site, provides links to sites focusing on the life and works of the Medieval mystic writer Margery Kemp. In her autobiographical work "The Book of Margery Kempe" she gives details of everyday life in the Middle Ages as well as including prayers, meditations, and religious visions. Her work may be the earliest autobiography written in English. This resource is referenced in the EDSITEment lesson plan titled "Chaucer's Wife of Bath."
