Description

The Building Big Web site, sponsored by PBS, compiles information, activities, and teaching materials related to architecture and large structures. Included are discussions about famous buildings, and the physical principals and materials used in their making. This site also teaches basic physical science concepts while promoting awareness of the built environment and the impact of technology on society. This resource is referenced in the EDSITEment lesson titled "What Should a House Do?"
