Description
Reserve online for visits to the Learning Lab at Udvar-Hazy Center outside of Washington, D.C. Through hands-on activities, the program introduces students to the history of lunar exploration: the obstacles to working on the moon, what was learned from the Apollo missions, and what can still be learned by returning. Students work as “mission design teams” to create a moon habitat that could support human life. For grades 3-9.
