Description

The National Geographic Society has launched a campaign to help make Americans more aware of the need to protect the nation's rivers and watersheds. A new poll conducted in conjunction with the project shows that, despite being conservation-minded, much of the U.S. public has little knowledge about the perils facing American rivers today and what they can do to help improve the situation. Read about the campaign in this National Geographic News article.
