Description
This on-line activity, from Annenberg Media, asks students to determine how many valentines are exchanged if each student in a class of 28 gives a valentine to each of the other students in class? Students are first encouraged to solve a simpler problem and are walked through different methods that could be used to solve the problem. Finally, they look at how they could solve the original problem. Along the way, they are encouraged to type in their thoughts on the screen.
