Description

This resource, from the Educator's Reference Desk, is an activity designed to teach concepts of decimals by acting out their place values. Students are given a 1-digit number, and the teacher calls a set of students to go to the front of the room. Students arrange themselves according to a decimal that the teacher calls out. In the second part of the activity, students are given a second sheet of paper with a decimal value on it. In the front of the room, they use their decimal values to arrange themselves in least-to-greatest order. Less
