Description

This lesson, from the Educator's Reference Desk, is part of the the K-16 American History Curriculum. In this lesson, students review what it means to be an explorer, and learn that exploration is still very much present in today's world. Students compare the explorations of Columbus and others to the astronauts of today, including methods of travel, equipment, and other topics.
