Description

This resource is from the Educator's Reference Desk, an Internet-based service providing education information. In this art lesson, students use Maurice Sendak's book, Where the Wild Things Are, as models of non-gruesome monsters. Then the students create their own monsters. The focus of this lesson is to show students that they can draw monsters without blood and gore.
