Description

Developing Math Quizzes Based on Prime Numbers
In this lesson, students solve problems from a New York Times math quiz related to an article about mathematician Dr. Terence Tao. They then prepare their own math quizzes for which solutions must be expressed in prime numbers. Finally, they consider how they use math in their daily lives, and prepare math problems based on one of their findings. (March 15, 2007)
