Description

In this lesson, one of a multi-part unit from EDSITEment, students study George Washington Harris's short story, "Mrs. Yardley's Quilting Party." After considering how the story's structure "frames" the trickster Sut Lovingood, students produce a character sketch of Harris's comic protagonist and a sample of his humorous dialect.
