Description

In this ReadWriteThink lesson, students create multigenre "zines," or fan magazines, that focus on prominent figures from popular culture. Students first use the Facts-Questions-Interpretations method to research selected topics. They then write in a variety of genres about their subjects, using several online interactive tools. Finally, students design covers for their projects and the teacher binds all of the printed documents into individual zines.
