Description

In this ReadWriteThink lesson, students become familiar with the pattern book format before creating their own digital pattern book using photographs of popular culture characters. First, digital photographs of students' stuffed animals or toys representing favorite popular culture characters are taken in various locations around the school. Once the photographs have been stored on a computer, students participate in a shared writing session to create their digital storybook, which follows the pattern of the book they read at the start of the lesson.
