This web site provides information from the Franklin Institute for students, educators, and the general public. Site materials include news articles, information on exhibits, event announcements, and links to educational resources published by the Institute. For learners, there are the Case Files, biographical and historic information on important technological developments and the scientists who made them possible; features on the history of science and technology; and links to resources on the human heart and brain. For educators, there are Curricular Companions, guides for science teachers to help implement the District of Philadelphia's Core Curriculum in science. There are also Parent Partners, resources for teachers and parents to collaborate in exploring science; and educator tools such as a field trip planner and information on professional development courses.
