Description
Sound Science is a weekly podcast--a radio show you download on the internet--from the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI). During every podcast, OMSI answers questions about science, technology, and math that can be sent to OMSI through a form on the Sound Science page, or by leaving a telephone message. The shows cover an enormous range of life science, physical science, and technology topics--from how our dreams access our memories to whether space has a top and bottom, from why peanuts can cause such a strong allergic reaction, to whether people will ever live on Mars. The Sound Science site also has a browseable archive of older episodes, from Summer 2006 to the present. Answers to questions are provided in text as well as audio. Less
